James Doohan,

When Star Trek started i always think how a scottish engineer would be proud if they saw a Scottish engineer at the best vessel heart working and loving.

James Doohan was there at all of the Star Trek Series and movies (except for the pilot), and to me he was some one special not for the show but also for its fans, as i remember a recording of him where he explained that a fan wanted to end her life (written in a letter) that he personally contacted her and made her live changed (I don’t know what happened after with her) but this made me cried when I saw this video.

I always was a fan of Doohan and the crew and could always laugh at him, especially his engineer jokes, he had played the same character (Montgomery “Scotty” Scott) on three different series: Star Trek (1966), Star Trek: The Animated Series (1973) and Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). As for the animated series he did 57 voices for different characters, as memory serverd he wasn’t good with william Shatner and before he passed away they settled their differences.

And still i hear many fans say:

Star Trek isn’t the same anymore without Montgomery Scott

We honor him in our Hall-Of-Fame.
